Jane Gunn: Mediation in the Executive Board Room and Beyond Provides More Options (Episode # 495)

Jane Gunn, also known as The Barefoot Mediator, is a trained mediator and expert facilitator in conflict resolution. She is listed as a Global Leader in Who’s Who Mediation and is featured in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame. Jane is President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and is a former Director and board member of the Civil Mediation Council of England and Wales (CMC).

The author of 3 popular books “How To Beat Bedlam In The Boardroom And Boredom In The Bedroom”, “The Authority Guide To Conflict Resolution” and “The Mole and The Mountain”, she has spoken at the United Nations, The White House, and the European Commission.

Jane helps people from all backgrounds to become ReSolutionaries who are able to deal with difference and diversity in ways that are non-adversarial and solution-focused.

James Earl Jones: A Tribute and Life Celebration (Episode # 494)

James Earl Jones, known for his acting and iconic Baritone voice, received many awards, honors, and accolades for his work as an actor on Broadway, in film, on television, and in voice projects to include the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies.

One of the few performers to receive the EGOT, awards in all four categories of The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards, James Earl Jones was inducted in the American Theatre Hall of Fame (1985), received the National Medal of the Arts from President George H. W. Bush (1992), received the Kennedy Center Honor (2002), and the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award (2009).

His life was not an easy straight line function, he also had many obstacles to overcome to include stuttering and mutism. In her tribute to this remarkable man Dr. Karen reflects on how James Earl Jones became great and the lessons we can learn from his excellent and outstanding life.
